For so many of us, it’s the time of year for giving, receiving and celebration. But for others, this can be a time that highlights the need they are experiencing. This year, the FCDP was able to provide presents and food for eight families here in Lexington due to the generous support of Executive Committee members and volunteers. It’s important to us that we put our values into action not only at election time but throughout the year. Thank you to everyone who donated money, purchased gifts and food, wrapped presents, and helped deliver (on a cold, rainy December afternoon). And a special thanks to our FCDP Vice Chair, Andrea Ewen, who has spearheaded this project for seven years now which has allowed us to serve over 50 families in our community.
